摘要: This study examines the effect of performance incentives for health care providers to provide more and higher quality in Rwanda on child outcomes. The authors find that had a large significant weight-for-age children 0-11 months height-for-age 24-49 months. They attribute this improvement increases use prenatal postnatal care. Consistent with theory, larger effects services where monetary rewards marginal return effort are higher. also reduced gap between provider knowledge practice appropriate clinical procedures by 20 percent, implying gain efficiency.
