摘要: Abstract Steady-state currents for oxidation and reduction of photochemically generated radicals have been detected using platinum microelectrodes. Diphenylmethyl were produced by photolysis sym -tetraphenylacetone or a mixture tert-butyl peroxide diphenylmethane. Equations derived that relate the steady-state to concentration far from electrode, diffusion coefficient rate constant disappearance radicals. It was shown about 2 μM diphenylmethyl being under experimental conditions. The could also be normal pulse voltammetry at 25 μm diameter Reverse 1 ms measurement times revealed current cations in acetonitrile methylene chloride. reversible carbenium ion/neutral radical potential 0.00 ± 0.01 V vs. ferricinium/ferrocene acetonitrile. Similarly, diphenylcyanomethyl radical/carbanion couple − 0.96 ferrocene.
