摘要: In their never-ending search to improve manufacturing performance, companies try eliminate all sources of waste. this paper, we describe how the effects elimination waste on performance measures such as lead time and overtime costs can be estimated using logistical simulation. This is illustrated a real-life case study that was conducted in repair department truck cabin factory. department, cabs are controlled if necessary repaired. The first part paper describes bottlenecks were determined for both present layout proposed change. turned out difficult, several product flows ‘intertwine’. Modelling made complex by these interactions, they caused deadlock phenomena. second represents sensitivity analysis, which evaluates different types waste, machine breakdowns, inadequate buffer size production variance.
