摘要: Human cathepsin G is a serine proteinase with chymotrypsin-like specificity found in both polymorphonuclear leukocytes (neutrophils) and the U937 leukemic cell line. Utilizing RNA from latter, we have constructed cDNA library lambda gt11 isolated clone which apparently codes for complete amino acid sequence of this enzyme. Analysis reveals homology rat mast II (47%) but greater degree identity (56%) product activated mouse cytotoxic T lymphocytes. The close relationship between three proteins indicates similarities substrate biosynthesis predict involves removal two activation peptide during or just before packaging into their respective storage granules.
