摘要: Thermal and electrical tuning of laser emission from optically pumped blue phase I dye-doped short pitch cholesteric mixtures have been achieved. Temperature changes or applied electric field to the liquid crystal cells induce structural in configuration, producing a shift photonic band gap. The tunability structure that addition allows multidirectional may herald new age multipurpose sources. Furthermore, reversibility effect points out potential applications these soft self-assembled materials.
