摘要: Banana leaf hay (BL), banana pseudostem (BP), coast-cross (CC), 50% with (BLCC) and (BPCC) were evaluated for chemical composition, cumulative gas production, dry matter degradability methane emission potential. Inoculums from sheep cattle collected to tests. The experimental design was completely randomized in a factorial arrangement of 5 x 2, being data analysed by variance analysis the means compared Tukey test (5%). crude protein levels substrates BL, BP, CC, BLCC BPCC respectively 13.8%, 3.5%, 8.6%, 9.7% 6.1%. Despite its low level, BP substrate had higher content non-fibrous carbohydrates (28.4%), followed BL (23.4%), (20.0%) CC (13.3%). highest production observed (P < 0.05), reflecting their greater effective (76.3%). This showed largest emissions (34,16 mL/g DMD).
