EVALUATION OF SPLITTING TENSILE STRENGTH IN PLAIN AND FIBRE-REINFORCED FOAMED MORTAR

摘要: Splitting tensile strength of concrete is normally low compared to compressive and flexural strength. Tensile force was used in the design structural foamed mortar evaluate shear resistance provided by concrete. This research focuses on splitting incorporated with 7 different types fibres such as wood ash, pulverized fuel silica fume, palm oil polypropylene fibre, coconut fibre steel fibre. The findings show that amount influences enhancement level A high percentage can create a strong bonding between particles mortar, thus it able absorb energy resist crack formation.
