摘要: The application of neutron powder diffraction to the study mineral behaviour at high temperature and pressure is reviewed. characteristics neutrons that make them particularly amenable such studies are outlined, recent techno- logical developments in attainment extreme sample environments discussed. These include design new high-pressure cells, hydrothermal furnaces allow situ under conditions. this technology problems order-disorder minerals illustrated a series examples.
