摘要: A high temperature, pressure cell for neutron scattering studies and capable of achieving 1100 K 1.2 GPa is described. This a modification the McWhan clamped design (D.B. et al., Rev. Sci. Instr. 45 (1974) 643), adapted to incorporate graphite heating element optimised time-of-flight (fixed geometry) techniques. Preliminary measurements are shown using standard samples calibration as well profile refinement data from an α-PbF2 sample within at ambient temperature confirm effectiveness absorption corrections. produced reliable structural parameters which were consistent with those obtained under optimal conditions. further measurement disordered phase CuCl clear diffuse also shown.
