摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the problems of determination lead in whole blood (PbB) as it is considered to be best indicator current exposure humans and mammals. The techniques other biological matrices, such teeth, bones, plant, animal tissues are also reviewed. PbB prime importance with respect diagnosis poisoning assessment hazardous conditions, both occupationally exposed people general population. Blood contains three forms: a major fraction bound erythrocytes; protein-bound plasma; diffusible that represents metabolically active form circulating blood. level an index absorbed amount depends on variety environmental factors well factors. correct performance must include sampling blood; internal external quality control within each set determinations. methods used provide accurate precise determinations routine use anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV), flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry (FAAS), discrete FAAS, graphite furnace AAS (GF-AAS).
