摘要: In this paper, we introduce a novel real-time and contact-free sensor system, Helena, that can be mounted on bed frame to continuously monitor sleep activities (entry/exit of bed, movement, posture changes), vital signs (heart rate respiration rate), falls from in pervasive computing manner. The smart senses vibrations generated by body movements characterize based advanced signal processing machine learning methods. device provide information about patterns, generate results, support continuous assessment health tracking. method for detecting has not been attempted before represents life-changing high-risk communities, such as seniors. Comprehensive tests validations were conducted evaluate system performances using FDA approved wearable devices. Our an accuracy 99.5% on-bed (entries), 99.73% off-bed (exits), 97.92% the 92.08% changes, 97% bed. estimation heart (HR) ranged ±2.41 beats-per-minute compared Apple Watch Series 4, while (RR) ±0.89 respiration-per-minute oximeter metronome.
