摘要: Previous studies provided a strong evidence of the association between environmental exposure to cadmium (Cd) and hypertension in general population. However, role Cd pregnancy-induced (PIH) remains unclear. A total 5429 pregnant women was selected from birth cohort Wuhan, China investigate risk PIH. Among them, 199 (3.7%) were diagnosed with The concentrations maternal urine collected at delivery measured by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Multivariable logistic regression performed on as continuous variable (natural logarithm transformed) or categorical (tertiles). For about 3-fold increase urinary concentrations, there 75% odds PIH after adjusting for potential confounders (odds ratio (OR) =1.75; 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.45, 2.11). Women highest tertile had 2.2-fold increased OR PIH, compared lowest (2.24; CI: 1.47, 3.41). Furthermore, we found significant interaction socioeconomic status (P interaction=0.04). Our findings indicate that higher might be modified status.
