摘要: Organic matter (OM) uptake in cloud droplets produces water-soluble secondary organic aerosols (SOA) via aqueous chemistry. These play a significant role aerosol properties. We report the effects of OM wet aerosols, terms dissolved-to-gas carbon dioxide nucleation using molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. Carbon has been implicated natural rainwater as well seawater acidity. Variability and raindrop pH is assumed space time, regional emissions, local human activities geophysical characteristics differ. Rain scavenging inorganic SOx, NOx NH3 plays major rain acidity acid–base activity, however solubility also remains key parameter. Based on MD simulations we propose that presence surface-active promotes even at low temperatures, strongly decreasing solubility. A discussion made controlling or raindrop, consequence, without involving ionization equilibrium. The results are compared with experimental computational studies literature.
