摘要: Worldwide, cervical cancer is the second most common cause of cancer-related deaths in women. Imaging has not traditionally played a large role diagnosis and staging cancer. Staging cancer, due to high incidence developing countries, largely based on clinical examination per Internationale de Gynecologie et d’Obstetrique (FIGO) system. Conventional imaging limited ability detect small foci disease. Positron Emission Tomography (PET) capitalizes increased metabolism malignant cells useful distinguishing benign from disease, staging, monitoring response therapy. Though use PET only recently extended cervix recent publications demonstrated an important for patients with This chapter discusses current evaluation management
