摘要: Abstract In the present study, effects of silicon dopant contents on phase composition silicon-substituted hydroxyapatite (Si-HA) powders were investigated. Si-HA as-prepared samples, with varying (Si) contents, prepared by an aqueous precipitation method. The transformation samples during sintering was also discussed. analyses confirmed formation well-crystallized at low Si concentrations (≤1.5 wt% Si). Contrarily, amorphous calcium phosphate (Si-ACP) and silica formed high (>1.5 wt% Upon 1000 °C, Si) underwent no transformations, whereas Si-ACP transformed to biphasic α-tricalcium (Si-α-TCP) HA (no additional phases such as β-TCP, silicocarnotite or CaO detected). Rietveld refinement X-ray diffraction patterns conducted determine percentage ACP differences lattice parameters between pure α-TCP Si-α-TCP. photoelectron spectroscopy measurements suggested decomposition Si-α-TCP correlated. results that doping led Si-ACP, which primarily upon sintering. current study highlights a possible account recrystallization directly temperatures.
