摘要: We have analyzed three classes of highly repetitive DNA sequences Arabidopsis thaliana, composed tamdemly repeated units 180 bp, 500 and 160 respectively. The families comprise approximately 2% the genome are major component DNA. 500-bp element arose by duplication one half a 180-bp ancestor insertion foreign segment between two duplicated parts followed amplification. repeat elements contain occasionally palindromes other motifs but none significantly conserved. There is no significant similarity with previously published elements. Heterogeneity monomers ranges from 6% to 17%. Monomers derived different clusters in more diverged than same array.
