摘要: Abstract The adsorption of copper(II) ions on to dehydrated wheat bran (DWB), a by-product the flour process, was investigated as function initial pH, temperature, metal ion concentration and adsorbent dosage. optimum conditions were pH 5.0, copper 100 mg l −1 , temperature 60 °C dosage 0.1 g. equilibrium described well by Langmuir isotherm model with maximum capacity 51.5 mg g DWB. observation an increase in increasing leads result that DWB is endothermic nature. thermodynamic parameters such enthalpy, free energy entropy changes calculated these values show copper(II)-DWB process favoured at high temperatures.
