摘要: Stem cell transplantation is a promising new therapeutic option in different neurological diseases. However, it was not yet possible to translate its potential from animal models clinical application. One of the main problems applying stem medium difficulty detection, localization, and examination cells vivo at both cellular molecular levels. State-of-the-art imaging techniques provide better means for noninvasive, repeated, quantitative tracking implant or transplant. From initial deposition survival, migration, differentiation transplant/implanted cells, current methods allow monitoring infused same live recipient over time. The present review briefly summarizes compares these labeling as well application sheds light on consecutive options if appropriate.
