摘要: The objective of this study was to determine if in vitro methodologies developed for the Ankom Daisy(II) incubator could produce accurate estimates vivo equine DM digestibility (DMD) and NDF (NDFD) when feces were used as inoculum source. Four mature geldings utilized a 4 × Latin square design experiment with 2 factorial arrangement dietary treatments (timothy hay, alfalfa timothy hay plus oats, oats), which individually housed fed. During each 5-d total fecal collection period, collected composited daily calculate digestibility. Digestion treatment diets evaluated using incubator. Each incubation vessel assigned 1 horses contained 18 filter bags (6 containing 6 hay-oat mix, oats). Three periods evaluated: 30, 48, 72 h. Although 30- 48-h consistently less than estimates, they ranked same order method. For oat diet, mean 72-h DMD not different (P = 0.1444). However, estimate from < 0.010). NDFD, diet only NDFD estimate. method correctly alfalfa-based having greater timothy-based diets. Of 3 periods, period provided most similar data. Using described research, can be horse feeds.
