摘要: Genes of hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis play a key role in male reproductive performance. This study evaluated the polymorphisms luteinizing hormone receptor (LHR) and hypothalamic gonadotropin-releasing (GnRH) genes their effects on sperm quality traits including semen volume per ejaculate (VOL), density (SD), fresh motility (FSM), thawed (TSM), acrosome integrity rate (AIR), abnormal (ASR) collected from 205 Chinese Hostein bulls. The bulls consisted mature Holstein, 27 Simmental, 28 Charolais, 14 German yellow cattle. One single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) (A883G) exon 2 GnRH two SNPs (A51703G G51656T) intron 9 LHR were identified 274 Analysis variance Holstein showed that age had significant effect both SD FSM (P < 0.01), ASR 0.05). With regards to genotype its interaction with age, only SNP G51656T gene 0.05, P 0.01; respectively). association result AG higher than AA GG at 51,703 locus 0.10), TT 0.10). Phenotypic correlation among revealed negative correlations observed between AIR (r = -0.736, -0.500, 0.01). There moderate positive VOL 0.422, as well 0.411, In conclusion, may be potential marker for FSM.
