摘要: In this opinion article, we present the Trans-African Hydro-Meteorological Observatory (TAHMO). The goal of TAHMO is to develop a dense network hydro-meteorological measurement stations throughout sub-Saharan Africa. On average, there will be one station per 1000 km2. cost-effective through use new sensor and communication technologies. design robust aims at minimizing maintenance. Special attention paid data quality assessment control. Through public–private partnerships, system made financially self-sustaining. Education play an important role as many placed schools, where they in curriculum.
