摘要: Organic solar cells have rapidly increasing efficiencies, but typically absorb less than half of the incident spectrum. To increase broadband light absorption, we rigorously design experimentally realizable cell architectures based on dual photonic crystals. Our optimized architecture consists a polymer microlens at air-glass interface, coupled with photonic-plasmonic crystal metal cathode. The focuses periodic nanostructure that generates strong diffraction. Waveguiding modes and surface plasmon together enhance long wavelength absorption in P3HT-PCBM. has period 500 nm, photocurrent enhancement 49% 58%, respectively.
