摘要: Background: This study describes the validation of a new instrument measuring instrumental activities daily living (IADL), Amsterdam IADL Questionnaire© (a registered copyright Alzheimer Center VU University Medical Center). informant-based tool aimed at detecting problems in incipient dementia was previously found to have high internal consistency and test-retest reliability. Methods: Patients their informants who visited were included this study. Item response theory used estimate individuals' trait levels as measure disability. Construct validity tested by correlating estimated with clinical demographic measures using Pearson's or Kendall's τ correlation coefficients. Additionally, between patients without early- late-onset compared independent t tests. Results: A total 206 completed Questionnaire. The correlations other concordance formed hypotheses. diagnosed (n = 93) had higher than 96), Cohen's effect size, d 1.04, t(187) 7.1, p Conclusions: Results suggest that Questionnaire is reliable valid evaluation dementia.
