摘要: Introduction Detecting functional decline from normal aging to dementia is relevant for diagnostic and prognostic purposes. Therefore, the Amsterdam IADL Questionnaire (A-IADL-Q) was developed: a 70-item proxy-based tool with good psychometric properties. We aimed design short version while preserving its quality. Methods Study partners of subjects (n = 1355), ranging cognitively subjects, completed original A-IADL-Q. selected items using stepwise procedure combining missing data, Item Response Theory, input respondents experts. investigated internal consistency concordance version. To assess construct validity, we additionally between Mini–Mental State Examination (MMSE) and Disability Assessment Dementia (DAD). Finally, differences in instrumental activities daily living (IADL) scores groups across spectrum. Results 30 covering entire spectrum functioning. Internal (0.98) (0.97) were very high. Concordance MMSE (0.72) DAD (0.87) impairment increased cognition dementia. Discussion The A-IADL-Q (A-IADL-Q-SV) consists has maintained quality As such, A-IADL-Q-SV concise measure decline.
