摘要: Transducer Like Proteins (Tlps), also known as Methyl accepting chemotaxis proteins (MCP), enable enteric pathogens to respond changing nutrient levels in the environment by mediating taxis towards or away from specific chemoeffector molecules such nutrients. Despite recent advances characterization of responses Campylobacter jejuni, impact Tlps on adaptation this pathogen disparate niches and hosts is not fully characterized. The latter particularly evident case C. jejuni 81-176, a strain that be highly invasive. Furthermore, cytoplasmic group C (Tlp5, 6, 8) was extensively evaluated. Here, we investigated role 81-176 various substrates, biofilm formation, vitro interaction with human intestinal cells, chicken colonization. We found ∆tlp6 ∆tlp10 mutants exhibited decreased aspartate whereas mutant displayed Tri-Carboxylic Acid (TCA) cycle intermediates pyruvate, isocitrate, succinate. Our findings corroborated more than one Tlp involved same nutrient. deletion tlps affected important phenotypes motility, invasion epithelial cells (INT-407). ∆tlp8 increased motility soft agar showed formation. ∆tlp9 were significantly defective INT-407 cells. colonization proximal distal gastrointestinal tract, while reduced duodenum jejunum. results highlight importance jejuni’s pathobiology.
