摘要: Purpose The purpose of this paper is to refine the relationship between environmental turbulence and start-up behavior by considering entrepreneurial-related antecedents (alertness business ideas, entrepreneurial opportunities, intention toward entrepreneurship) moderating roles knowledge. Design/methodology/approach The study was conducted through a self-administered survey owner/managers SMEs in Pakistan. Correlation, moderated hierarchical regression, structural equation modeling approach were used for analysis. Findings The results revealed that positively affects alertness ideas opportunities which, turn, affect entrepreneurship. The also suggested knowledge significantly moderates entrepreneurship behavior. Research limitations/implications The changes market technologies which shape activities should be longitudinally observed. research data came from industries; therefore, findings may not generalized other sectors due industry-specific difference. Practical implications The positive impact suggests presentiment signal, calling upon entrepreneurs collect meaningful information as well identify new adjust their capabilities any challenges ahead. Originality/value The confirmed creation ventures context developing economies role on small medium enterprises.
