摘要: Recreational drug abuse represents a serious public health problem. Neuroimaging traditionally played secondary role in this scenario, where it was limited to detecting acute vascular events. However, thanks advances knowledge about disease and morphological functional imaging techniques, radiologists have now become very important the diagnosis of chronic neurological complications recreational abuse. The main are neurovascular disease, infection, toxicometabolic disorders, brain atrophy. The nonspecific symptoms denial make radiologist's involvement fundamental management these patients. makes possible detect early changes suggest an etiological cases with specific patterns involvement. We aim describe pattern pathophysiological mechanisms drugs greatest repercussions as well illustrate depiction cerebral on conventional techniques.
