摘要: Abstract This research introduces and delineates the concept of insecurity in IJV relationships. We define relationship as a parent firm's concerns about continuance alliance arrangement its partner's future provision need satisfaction. According to interdependence theory, exchange partners that experience high dependence inevitably this ‘anxiety dependency’, emergence can destabilize working from within. develop conceptual model drivers consequences IJVs. Our survey results 125 IJVs indicate focal firm partner both negatively affect insecurity, though former is dominant predictor. surprising finding implies low dependency’. The suggest not only reduces directly performance, but also lowers quality interpartner communication, which turn dampens performance. Implications these are discussed.
