摘要: Electron beam lithography was utilized to produce well-ordered two dimensional arrays of Pt and Ag nanoparticles on silica alumina. The mean size the particles varied between 20 50 nm, with interparticle distances 100 200 nm. Due narrow distribution particles, these are ideal models for supported metal catalysts. thermal stability effect annealing in different gases were examined by HRTEM AFM. nanoparticle stable up 973 K, which is onset temperature recrystallization. Reaction studies ethylene hydrogenation yielded rates that comparable conventional vacuum hydrogen 773 while rapid evaporation occurred above 873 K. In oxygen, remained intact 623 K but sintered at higher temperature.
