摘要: Primary care providers are charged with distinguishing children an underlying growth problem from those healthy variant short stature. Knowing the heights of biological parents aids in making that decision. This study sought to determine feasibility and functionality electronic mid-parental height (MPH) auto-calculator clinical assessment child a pediatric primary setting. Clinicians completed surveys for 62% 6803 (mean 13 ± 7 percentile) recorded parent heights. Collecting data required <30 seconds 91% encounters. The MPH tool confirmed clinicians' initial 79% cases changed it 4%; remainder did not use tool. who were more likely (P < .0001) pursue comprehensive evaluation. was quick, functional resource as component health record system actual, busy, practices.
