摘要: Abstract When a Pb electrode immersed in H 2 SO 4 solution is polarized the PbO potential range following system formed: Pb/PbO /H O/O . At oxide/solution interface oxygen evolution takes place. The semiproducts of this reaction, O atoms and − radicals, diffuse into anodic layer oxidize metal. As result solid-phase reaction metal oxidized first to tet-PbO then further By examining changes Tafel slopes above reactions by analyzing chemical composition layer, effect Sb on processes assessed. Antimony was introduced either alloying it with or adding solution. It established that lowers overvoltage increases rate corrosion lead irrespective way which system. stoichiometric coefficient oxide hence, enhances oxidation results these investigations confirm mechanism proceeding during lead.
