摘要: The multidisciplinary nature of computational science and engineering (CSE) its rela- tion to other disciplines is described. stages through which CSE education evolving, from initial recognition in the 1980s present growth, are discussed. challenges benefits different approaches discussed, as emergence a set core elements common approaches. content courses, curricula, degrees offered reviewed, survey made all undergraduate de- gree programs. curricula programs examined for "tool set" they define analyzed their relative weighting computing, application, mathematics. A trend toward standard curriculum noted.
