摘要: Abstract Metallographically prepared specimens of commercial and laboratory-made stainless steel copper have been made the negative electrode a small spark gap in low pressure hydrogen atmosphere, with ultimate aim predicting suitability these materials as components thermo-nuclear apparatus. Microscopical examination, subsequent to sparking experimental tube, revealed that surface damage had occurred around certain types inclusion metals remainder being unaffected. A correlation has established between resistivity inclusions their effectiveness arc-initiators.
