Cardiac Rhabdomyosarcoma with Metastatic T1 Vertebral Compression Fracture

摘要: A case of pathological compression fracture the T1 vertebra is presented. An inadequate transpedicular vertebral biopsy showed a metastatic malignancy unknown origin. Positive findings located at right atrium and cervicothoracic junction spine were demonstrated on F-18 fl uorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography (FDG-PET). left atrial lesion was excised partially immunohistochemical appearance cardiac mass same as that found vertebra. The diagnosis rare pleomorphic rhabdomyosarcoma presented with vertebrae. patient died about eight months later due to recurrent severe congestive heart failure.
