Identification and verification of 3 key genes associated with survival and prognosis of patients with colon adenocarcinoma via integrated bioinformatics analysis

摘要: Background Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most lethal malignancy in world, wherein colon adenocarcinoma (COAD) prevalent type of CRC. Exploring biomarkers important for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention COAD. Methods: We used GEO2R Venn online software differential gene screening analysis. Hub genes were screened via STRING Cytoscape, following Gene Ontology KEGG enrichment Finally, survival analysis expression validation performed UALCAN software, real-time PCR immunohistochemistry. Results: In this study, we 323 common differentially expressed from four GSE datasets. Furthermore, hub selected correlation level verification, three which shown to be statistically significant. Conclusion: Our study suggests that SERPINE1, SPP1 TIMP1 may closely related prognosis CRC patients.
