摘要: Head and neck cancer is a broad term used to describe malignancies that arise in the nasal oral cavities, pharynx larynx, as well paranasal sinuses. squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) affects epithelium of cavity, tongue oropharynx, excluding nasopharynx. Recent advances molecular technology, including gene expression proteomic profiling appear offer potential for development specific biomarkers diagnostic tools which may act an aid guide therapy this malignancy. The other human head included review, nasopharyngeal (NPC) malignancy derived from undifferentiated considered here separate entity because its strong association with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) presents opportunity related unrelated biomarkers. In particular, IgA antibodies EBV high levels DNA serum samples NPC patients have been recorded. This review aims summarize some current also new could be screening, diagnosis, monitoring prognostic prediction cancers neck, HNSCC.
