摘要: It has been recently reported that NK012, a 7-ethyl-10-hydroxy-camptothecin (SN-38)-releasing nanodevice, markedly enhances the antitumor activity of SN-38, especially in hypervascular tumors through enhanced permeability and retention effect. Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is typical tumor with an irregular vascular architecture. We therefore investigated NK012 model from RCC. Immunohistochemical examination revealed Renca contained much more CD34-positive neovessels than SKRC-49 tumors. Compared CPT-11, had significant against both bulky Notably, eradicated rapid-growing 6 10 mice, whereas it failed to eradicate In pulmonary metastasis treatment model, prolonged distribution free SN-38 was observed metastatic lung tissues but not nonmetastatic after administration. resulted decrease nodule number benefit survival. Our study shows outstanding advantage polymeric micelle-based drug carriers suggests would be effective treating disseminated RCCs architectures.
