摘要: Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that threatens human health. The caused by metabolic disorder of the endocrine system, and long-term illness can lead to tissue organ damage cardiovascular, endocrine, nervous, urinary systems. Currently, prevalence 11.4%, treatment rate 48.2%, mortality 2.7% worldwide. Comprehensive effective control diabetes, as well use insulin, requires further study develop additional options. Here, we reviewed current reprogramming somatic cells using specific factors induced pluripotent stem (iPS) capable repairing islet β cell in diabetes patients treat with type 1 mellitus. We also discuss shortcomings associated clinical iPS cells. Additionally, certain polyphenols found spices might improve glucose homeostasis insulin resistance patients, thereby constituting promising options for 2 diabetes.
