摘要: Left untreated, aneurysmal disease of the abdominal aorta is a highly lethal condition. Standard transabdominal repair aortic aneurysm, although successful and durable, continues to be plagued by significant morbidity, mortality, cost. Placement an endovascular graft through femoral arteriotomy new technique that could potentially reduced this morbidity cost without sacrificing efficacy. This report details development U.S. Food Drug Administration (FDA)-approved grafting device. In addition, we describe our experience screening patients summarize clinical with placement both tube bifurcated systems. To date, 16 have undergone at UCLA, three grafts been placed. Two required conversion conventional open aneurysm repair. All remaining procedures were successful, there no perioperative deaths or major complications. We conclude aneurysms feasible safe.
