摘要: Abstract Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop an endovascular system for transfemoral placement straight aortic grafts and bifurcated aortoiliac grafts. Methods: Both types graft consist barbed, self-expanding stents attached a woven polyester fabric. Survival studies straight-graft function were performed in six large mongrel dogs. Digital subtraction fluoroscopic equipment used guide insertion record angiograms at 0, 1, 3 months. Bifurcated inserted additional eight dogs, four with distal without. Straight into cadaveric aortas (five atherosclerotic one aneurysmal; age 68.7 + 5.7 years) assess stent attachment. Results: Angiograms obtained immediately after showed be within 4.6 1.6 mm the intended level. Follow-up 1 months no migration, leakage, patency all After there angiographic signs perigraft or without stents. The mean force required displace 10 from their original position 1388 127 g . Conclusion: These preliminary results show that can positioned accurately securely abdominal aorta. (J VASC SURG 1993;18:185-97.)
