Fabrication of Textured Titania by Slip Casting in a High Magnetic Field Followed by Heating

摘要: Anisotropic susceptibility is very small in feeble magnetic ceramics such as titania; therefore, it had been difficult to develop a textured microstructure using field. However, we demonstrate this paper, that titania can be prepared by slip casting high field and heating. After the suspension was compacted field, green solid with slight degree of crystallographic orientation obtained. The texture increased increasing temperature, development accompanied grain growth specimens.
