摘要: A new dual-band RF transceiver is presented for 2.4- and 5.2-GHz multistandard wireless local area networks. The proposed integrates a concurrent front-end, triple-band frequency synthesizer, band-sharing in-phase/quadrature modulator/demodulator to maximize component power reuse. design started with the examination of an enhanced heterodyne architecture then optimal circuit partition satisfy requirements. Key circuits are designed integrated other building blocks experimental demonstration. measurement shows that eight 5-GHz channels 13 2.4-GHz can be synthesized within 130 /spl mu/s phase noise less than -98 dBc/Hz at 100-kHz off carrier spur suppression greater -65 dBc. transmitted P/sub 1 dB/ 25/20 dBm 2.4/5.2 GHz, respectively, modulation accuracy error-vector magnitude (EVM) values varying from 3.57% 7.19%. receiver gain 20/31 dB GHz front-end 70 IF back-end EVM 2.32% 10% -70- -17-dBm received range.
