摘要: both quiet and storm conditions, emphasizing the dependence of model’s performance for various magnetic local times, solar wind seasons. The model predicts potential better in dawn-dusk sector then noon-midnight sector. For field-aligned currents (FACs) performs on dayside than nightside. In addition, there is a trend toward unsatisfactory behavior as activity increases. more accurately corresponds to observations during times disturbed periods. During storms FACs tend locate at 4 MLat poleward observations. Our analysis has revealed that depends strongly underestimates cross polar cap (CPCP) by about 50% summer hemisphere while overestimating it winter hemisphere. calculates difference between CPCP order factor 2.5, DMSP data show actual around 1.3. These results reveal ionospheric modeling subsets lack appropriate seasonal dependence.
