摘要: [1] In this work a systematic evaluation of ground and geostationary magnetic field predictions generated by set global magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) models is carried out. The uses four geospace storm events magnetometer station GOES data for comparisons between model output observations. It shown that metrics analysis two different parameters, i.e., field, show surprising similarities, although the parameters reflect rather properties geospace. More specifically, increasing spatial resolution inclusion more realistic inner magnetospheric physics successfully made BATS-R-US accurate. Furthermore, while OpenGGCM had tendency to have larger differences observations than in terms prediction efficiency, provided accurate representation observed spectral characteristics fluctuations.
