摘要: The CE-Qual-ICM model computes phytoplankton biomass and production as a function of temperature, light, nutrients. Biomass is computed carbon while inorganic nitrogen, phosphorus, silica are considered Model formulations for production, metabolism, predation, nutrient limitation, light limitation detailed. Methods parameter determination values presented. Results application to ten-year period in Chesapeake Bay indicate the provides reasonable representations observed biomass, concentrations, limiting factors. Computed primary agrees with under light-limited conditions. Under strongly nutrient-limited conditions, product less than observed. characteristics similar behavior reported several models. Process omitted from that may account shortfalls include variable algal stoichiometry, use urea nutrient, vertical migration by phytoplankton.
