摘要: Aim: Nondippers are known to carry a high risk of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. The aim this study was investigate the effects dipper nondipper status hypertension on longitudinal systolic diastolic functions left atrial (LA) myocardial tissue by means two-dimensional speckle-tracking echocardiography in treated hypertensive patients. Methods: A total 78 outpatients with antihypertensive drugs for at least 1 year were included study. patients classified as nondippers if their daytime ambulatory blood pressure did not decrease 10% during night. Global LA strain/strain rate data obtained speckle imaging automated software compared between groups. Results: volume index, ventricular (LV) wall thickness mass index well filling (E/E′) significantly higher (all P < 0.001), whereas velocity (S′) lower nondippers. They also had decreased values mean peak strain (dippers = 27.6 ± 5.5% vs. nondippers = 21.5 ± 4.5%, reservoir (dippers = 1.27 ± 0.4/sec nondippers = 0.98 ± 0.3/sec, P = 0.001), conduit period (dippers = 1.41 ± 0.4/sec nondippers = 1.06 ± 0.3/sec, P < 0.001). Moreover, we found that mechanical dysfunction closely associated LV mass, pressure, regional contractility. Conclusion: Nondipping an adverse cardiac remodeling impaired function. Further studies warranted demonstrate long-term prognostic significance these findings.
