摘要: BACKGROUND Non-dippers were reported as showing different left atrial function, compared to dippers, but no study date investigated the changes in function according diurnal blood pressure pattern, using tissue Doppler and strain imaging. METHODS Forty never treated hypertensive patients between 30 80 years of age enrolled this study. Patients classified non-dippers when, during night time, they had a decrease less than 10%. Strain atrium was measured late systole, peak rates early diastolic periods. RESULTS The expansion index, active emptying volume fraction all significantly increased non-dippers. They also values mean (dippers = 21.26 ± 4.23% vs. 24.91 5.20%, p 0.02), rate reservoir 1.29 0.23 s(-1) =1.52 0.27 s(-1), 0.01) contractile period -1.38 0.24 -1.68 0.32 < 0.01). CONCLUSION acquired from color imaging demonstrate exaggerated booster pump never-treated, non-dipper patients. These methods are simple sensitive for detection subtle function.
