摘要: OBJECTIVE Nondippers are known to carry a high risk of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. The aim this study was investigate the effects dipper nondipper status hypertension on left atrial (LA) systolic diastolic functions using two-dimensional speckle tracking echocardiography (2D-STE), P-wave dispersion (PWD), P terminal force (PTF) in hypertensive patients. METHODS A total 72 patients 39 healthy individuals were included study. classified as nondippers if their daytime ambulatory blood pressure did not decrease by at least 10% during night. Atrial electromechanical delay times, LA strain values obtained 2D-STE with automated software compared between groups. PWD PTF data calculated electrocardiography. RESULTS Inter-atrial (dippers: 25.5 ± 3.9, nondippers: 32.2 ± 7.4, P < .001), left-atrial 14.9 ± 3.7, 18.2 ± 6.0, P = .016), right 10.5 ± 2.1, 14.2 ± 5.2, P < .001) times significantly longer nondippers. S 34.2 [29.7-38.7], 27.7 [22.7-32.2], E 18.2 [16.6-20.1], 14.4 [11.6-16.8], 15.8 [13.5-17.9], 12.7 [9.9-14.5], lower also had an increased maximum duration 0.117 [0.10-0.12], 0.126 [0.12-0.14], 0.062 [0.06-0.07], 0.069 [0.06-0.08], P = .004), 0.055 ± 0.02, 0.066 ± 0.02, P = .02). CONCLUSION Nondipping pattern worse cardiac remodeling, impaired mechanical function dipping pattern. findings support these changes.
