摘要: Abstract Four strains, coded as UPM1132, UPM1133T, UPM1134 and UPM1135, isolated from nodules of Pisum sativum plants grown on Ni-rich soils were characterised through a polyphasic taxonomy approach. Their 16S rRNA gene sequences identical showed 100% similarity with their closest phylogenetic neighbors, the species included in ‘R. leguminosarum group’: R. laguerreae FB206T, USDA 2370T, anhuiense CCBAU 23252T, sophoreae 03386T, acidisoli FH13T hidalgonense FH14T, 99.6% sequence esperanzae CNPSo 668T. The analysis combined housekeeping genes recA, atpD glnII similarities 92-95% relatives. Whole genome average nucleotide identity (ANI) values 97.5-99.7% ANIb among four less than 92.4% closely related species, while digital DNA-DNA hybridization (dDDH) 82-85% within our strains 34-52% species. Major fatty acids strain UPM1133T C18:1 ω7c / ω6c summed feature 8, C14:0 3OH/ C16:1 iso I 2 C18:0. Colonies small to medium, pearl-white coloured YMA at 28 °C growth was observed ranges 8-34 °C, pH 5.5-7.5 0-0.7% (w/v) NaCl. DNA G + C content 60.8 mol %. genotypic, phenotypic chemotaxonomic data support classification UPM1135 into novel Rhizobium, for which name Rhizobium ruizarguesonis sp. nov. is proposed. type (=CECT 9542T = LMG 30526T).
