摘要: Despite the launch of a WHO European Region strategic plan 2005-2010 for eliminating measles and rubella preventing congenital (CR) infection, are still circulating in Europe. The goal incidence reduction CR cases has postponed to 2015 by Italian Ministry Health through implementation new 2010-2015 which will require (1) achievement more than 95% coverage with 1 dose two doses containing vaccine (MCV), respectively, within 24 mo 12 y age; (2) supplementary vaccination activities aimed at susceptible populations including adolescents, young adults those risk (health care educational workers, military, groups "hard reach" like nomads); addition, (3) less 5% proportion women childbearing age (especially immigrant women). Experiences regional level, Tuscany, shown promising results order create an integrated surveillance system between local health authorities, university laboratory future, validate elimination. Moreover, evaluation all preventive performed Tuscany during last decade, immunization data, sero-epidemiological population profile highlighted critical points should be improved good practices already implemented maintained future reach goals.
